We were there for the test driving week with a factory tour. Great event. Nice personel. Entrances into the motorhomes 🚌 are very high, so you still have to be agile and reasonably fit. I had knee surgery four weeks ago. It was very difficult to get into it. It was just about okay as there was a small handrail on one side of the back entrance. For future campers, I would like to see more consideration given to the needs of those with health problems. The elderly are probably the main clientele. The showers 🚿 in the mobiles are also very narrow. 🅿️ Also available for motorhomes 🚾 Available, spacious for a wheelchair, unfortunately no grab bars to “change” to the toilet

We bought a Malibu Van 640 directly in Aulendorf as a new vehicle in July 2021. After the handover, the large drawer under the rear seats fell out in the first corner. The locking plate was forgotten here. After a few more kilometers, the neckrests and brackets on the wall near the rear seats fell down. After a year and a vacation, the living room battery was defective and we were referred to the Wald company. Apparently nothing could be found there. Small rodents then settled in the van and chewed up everything that was soft and also defecated and urinated everywhere, so that a special cleaning using ozone for €1000 was necessary. When Camper Ford You checked again, the battery had to be replaced, costing €2900. After two years and 2 vacations, the taps were defective, i.e. the water ran out of the bottom of the taps. Exchange for €430. A gas test certificate was promised upon delivery, but has only now been handed out on October 23rd. Updates to follow.

We have a Malibu 640 charming. The vehicle is from 2018. We have owned it since 2019. Now we had a problem with a window. We received competent and friendly service in Aulendorf and the problem was solved. Thank you for that !!!

Update on the Malibu 640, 2021. After finally 2 years, X Standstill, X frustration, all warranty work is done. Unfortunately, X problems occurred again on the trip to Nordkapp. Loss of water from the taps, smell of heating and boiler like cable fire. Do not stop. Now you have to pay for everything yourself. Thank you gentlemen from Carthago for the measly 2 years Guarantee and great workmanship for your vehicles. are defects certainly can't be topped.

After we were able to get a Malibu 600LE BJ 07.2022 with only 12,000 km from the local Malibu dealer in June 2023, we were very happy, as were the promises of the Marka Malibu. Immediately after the handover the problems started and show the sometimes poor quality of this brand. Despite cleaning, the drain in the kitchen only works with a plunger, and driving with the REMIS louvered doors in the bathroom rattling is extremely annoying. Then the usual game of the (premium) manufacturers: The dealer should fix it, but he then asks the manufacturer again and it goes on like this and time goes by. You buy a vehicle like this to spend your free time and not constantly be on the waiting list. Here are a few details: The Remis driver/passenger door blackout system is inaccurate and incorrectly fitted, rattling noises are heard while driving. (I didn't see such processing in your showroom in Aulendorf in autumn 2022) Kitchen sink: water doesn't drain, siphon was free, was cleaned again on the way. Only works with a plunger, really tasty!! Fly screen sliding door: After a week of use, the frame jams, despite the use of silicone spray. The dining table's holding device is really wobbly, there are better solutions from the competitors! You hardly dare to move while eating. Bad: The Remis slats rattle significantly while driving. Now clamp a sponge between them and fix the magnetic strips with adhesive tape. Now looks like a Leukoplast B.... for these prices. Is this the Malibu standard in question? The nice shelf is 1-2 cm too big. The slatted doors can no longer be closed when the toilet is locked. Water pressure in the bathroom too low (kitchen is ok) Very unpleasant in the toilet, as the water does not flow over the upper ring as Thetford intended, but is at the end after about 10 cm. The pressure in the system also disappears very quickly!?! I don't know that at all. The ventilation of the Thetford toilet is installed incorrectly! The excess pressure escapes into the interior. Hence always unpleasant smells. The manufacturer is certainly aware of the defects, but does nothing. Depending on the heat, there is an annoying creaking noise in the wall cupboard in the kitchen, where glass meets wood. The compressor refrigerator is certainly a good solution, but do you have to remove the condensation from the refrigerator every 8 days in such a small space? Let's see how this develops. Maybe at some point the manufacturers will realize that we customers are no longer supplicants. Times change. Yes, thanks Team Malibu for the nice answer. In the email it came out that Malibu only offers a one-year warranty for this vehicle until July 6th, 2023. We were blown away. Malibu takes the liberty of shortening the statutory warranty from two years to one year. The vehicle was rented by the previous owner (private person). After asking several times before purchasing, I was always verbally promised the two-year standard statutory warranty by the local Malibu dealer. And if the dealer has informed me incorrectly, there is still the option of GOODNESS, as I know from premium manufacturers in the automotive industry. But making a slim foot is really not the fine “Upper Swabian” way.

Really now, the best furniture construction in the motorhome. Quality in focus, quality that convinces, fascination... blah blah. Received garbage for €90,000. If it wasn't so serious I couldn't stop laughing. I've had a Malibu 640 GTLE from Carthago for a whopping four weeks and it's falling apart into its individual parts. Wrong screws (ever heard of Euro screws) installed, pipes that fall apart, seals that ooze out of the windows. Flooded my van while flushing. Consequential damage cannot be estimated. EVERY apprentice carpenter can do it better. Luckily I still have my 50-year-old Tabbert Comtesse. I'll probably switch again. Lawyer is involved. Maybe this is a topic for television. What's the name of the show, "Attention Abz......." Fortunately, good legal protection. Please stay away! Updates will follow.
